Can daily drinks induce LDs?

Do i need specify it further? Well, it’s about inducing LD-s from drinks. Are there any daily drinks (Milk, soda, etc.) that can at all induce or enhance LD-s?

I like to drink daily, yes. No idea if helps my LD’ing though :wink:.

Milk may help you a little bit (I think).

Some say just the right amount of coffee to keep you aware enough to be lucid but not too aware to have insomnia. I dunno if it’s true or how it would work, but I wouldn’t try that anyway. I’d rather sleep and not have LDs than be awake all night.

I’m sure soda could do the same thing since it has caffeine in it.

But I don’t think I’ve heard of any specific drink that could make LD ing more successful.

Avoid all sodas. Drink milk sparingly. Keep a good supply of herbal teas. You want to primarily drink water or perhaps warm tea before bed.

Warm milk makes you sleepy so is good for WILD I think. I think a bit of caffeine could help, but it’s more likely to just mess up your sleep patterns.

meh, everyones says that coffee ruins your sleep patterns, but that cant be true since i drink 0,5l - 1l of coffee per day, and i can still sleep and have ld´s and nd´s… just dont drink it 5 mins before going to bed :razz:

Stay away from caffeine. Stimulants really effect dreaming if consumed close to your bed time. Stimulants will most obviously keep you up, increase your motablism, making you have to get up and go to the washroom. Ofcoruse thats not true for everybody though.

Stick to herbal teas, or decaffeinated teas if looking for a drink. Camomile, rooibos, peppermint, linden flower, just about anything.

well… maybe its just me, but caffeine has no effect on my sleep even thou i consume it quite heavily, but it might be that im deep sleepers… but who knows…

ps. i drink 1 glass of cold tap water every night before going to sleep, and i think it has effect… someone care to confirm?
