would it be possible to invite a spirit into a dream? if so I would greatly appreciate it, if someone could tell me how.
Eh, I’m pretty sure dreams are just in your mind, so I would think no. Might just depend on your point of view, because I’m not all that spiritual.
I believe that you can I had a dream once that I visited with my deceased fiancee. It’s in my dream journal titled “open your eyes, see with your heart” on page 2.
I believe lucid dreaming takes you into another dimension and I believe that there are many dimensions you can visit. I believe there is a place beyond the physical. That our energy keeps going and I think lucid dreaming is proof of that @ least to me. 
There are in fact many reports of dreamers meeting characters of dead people in dreams, sometimes receiving knowledge that they couldn’t possibly have acquired by themselves, but that the passed person possessed. From there, it’s up to you to believe or not

Right now, I don’t believe than anyone who has influenced or interacted with one could ever fully die. Supposedly, the SC takes in just so much information and understanding, and weaves them into whatever it is of another person that lives on in us. And even when they’re alive, the most we can have is that ongoing impression of them, right?
It depends on your point of view I suppose. The scientific point of view says no, as dreams are inside your head, and you cant really meet dead people in your head. The spiritual viewpoint which lidybug describes suggests that you could meet dead people in your dreams. I personally agree, as I have had a couple of SDs with my friends and I was pretty convinced that it was real. I would say you could, probably by talking to your SC, then saying ‘can i please talk to this dude’ then he goes on the sc telephone and talks to the dead guys sc and then they arrange a meeting 
Probably not, but I would ask lidybug how she did it.
It would be really cool if you could talk to historical figures like Napoleon and Sun-Tzu that would be really awesome.
Yea but I bet a lot of people are doing that already. It would be awesome tho to talk to famous people in dreams, then ask them for advice in RL so you can be as awesome as they were
If i could meet one deceased person it would have to be Bruce Lee, he is one of the most awesome people ever and i study kung-fu so getting to meet and perhaps learn something from him would be (no pun intended) a dream come true.

I like how you think. It reminds me of a friend of mine. I agree with both of you. I think you can reach someone who is deceased in a dream. It is part of the reason I began attempting to lucid dream.
I Believe You Can. After many experiences and hearing of other peoples experiences. It does put a great question into your head, Makes you want to find out more. It’s a very Powerful Place, so walk the road carefully. ^^
You can if you want to. A deceased friend was in a recent LD of mine, but I’m still not quite over his death so it was very embarrassing and I flew away… My deceased grandfather was in an ND I had last night. It’s all just dreams. Personally, I don’t think you’re literally talking to a spirit, but it may prove useful if you still have unresolved feelings or if you need to remember something from your subconscious.
