Every time I have become lucid, I have thought of something to do, but I never manage to do it. I start trying to make everything perfect but I always get back to a normal dream before I am able to actually do what I had been trying to do.
Anyone the same way? Simply an inability to complete anything while lucid? It’s really a plague and I can’t stand it.
just standing there in the dream letting it disappear while telling yourself exactly what you want
i.e.
i am now hovering above planet earth in outerspace it feels amazing and it is vividly real beyond all conceptions of the mind and i am right above florida looking down on it and i begin to free fall at light speed the most wonderful feeling as a telescopic vividness brings me to an eagle eye and i stop right before i smash into disney world and now i am floating above the people going about their days and gently land to visit them
instead of “go to disney world!”
sometimes you really can’t go where you want to , i don’t know why, its better to stay where you are and explore, then.
There are many methods out there for prolonging and maintaining lucidity. Some techniques which have been shown to work well are spinning around really fast, or rubbing your hands together. Try and get some kind of stimulation to keep your mind in the dream world.
If you’re having difficulty controlling the dream world, adjust your thought process. Instead of saying “I’m going to fly into the air”, and spending a bunch of time randomly jumping around, actually visualize yourself raising into the air. Different people mentally alter their dreams in different ways, so play around with your thoughts until you find a system that works.
