I just found this page, and I’m wondering about OBE’ing. Astral Projection seems too good to be true. Has anybody really done this, and also, have you been able to mess with stuff if you have(example: pick up alarm and smash it into a wall.)?
Ok first of all we ALL astral project in our beds (when we dream) but we don’t go more far than our body. When you go out of your body that’s an OBE because it is a projection outside of your body. And then it will be Astral Travel if you travel out of your body.
I haven’t fully projected my astral body out of my body but just some astral body parts as my hands and maybe my head.
About the Alarm thing you’re asking, if i did understand what you were trying to ask my answer will be that you can smash the same clock as in the physical plane, you will “smash” the clock astral matter if you really can do… i recommend you to ask a veteran, im a initiate myself so.
it is realy hard but it’s possible I have been to astral projection forums and none of them have ever done it, it’s deffenitly what happens when you die
OBE is a really common experience in lucid dreams. Whether what you see is reality or not, during an OBE, is another problem : some people have gathered true information from their OBE, but they are a minority.
I never heard about the faintest psychokinesis phenomena during OBE : if you smash your alarm, you’ll smash your dream alarm, and not the real one ! 
I myself am struggling with the idea that it is not just another realm of a lucid dream. But who is to say.
It apparently holds enough merit to where the U.S government held test concerning astral projection.
I think it was called distant viewing or remote distance viewing.? I think that is the title of the book about it.
Gathering information during OBE could also been explained by ESP. It seems that ESP are more common during altered states of consciousness.
You`re mixing too many things in one pot here- Oobes,lds,remote viewing,telekinesis and telepathy.
Oobes and lds- basically same thing and in both its when your mind is separated from your body.You counciously travel with your mind.It never happens in our plane(though it has not been proved either way) and havr no influence on anything in real life(as far as we know).
Remote viewing,telepathy and telekinesis- it is said to be possibile for a brain to comunicate with other (prolly by setting same frequency) and have influence on it,regardless of distance.It can also influence not only other mind but matter(i.e your alarm clock).
Keep in mind that none of the above has ever been proved,but thats whats assumed and most propable.
Fact that there are experiments being taken by CIA or other serious agendas isnt anything more than tries that has never been proved over simple statisticall occurance.

My father had an OOBE experience once when knocked unconscious. He said he saw his body laying on floor from the top of the room and could see people standing over his body. I think most OOBE come without trying, but there are techniques. They are different from LD in that you are in reality instead of a dream.
Or so it seems to be reality…after taking closer look person experiencing Oobe admits theres plenty of details dont match reality…so we dont know.
More seems to prove “outer plane” theory than disprove it though.With so many ppl Oobeing around the world wed have “astral spies” and such around allready.
