Ive had two LDs that were induced by seeing a cat in my dreams. The first time, I wasnt even practacing LDing, and I saw a cat. I think there might actually be something. Im going to do a RC everytime I see a cat.
Strange you say that Area51, many of my lucid dreams have been caused by my recently deceased cat who keeps popping his head up every now and then.
CILD it is then. Or how about FILD? (Feline Induced Lucid Dream). Here’s a thought, combine the TBE (Teddy Bear Effect) and CILD and you have one dangerous combination!
My first and most intense lucid dream was caused by me getting up and seeing my cat, then seeing my cat everywhere i looked. then he ran up the wall and was somehow absorbed into the wall. Scary stuff when you didn’t know what an LD was.
Dangerous…or awesome? 
Somehow, I never seem to encounter cats in my dreams, though in my waking life I have two who I love dearly. Nice to hear that they’ve helped out so many people, though.

Strange, I think I had some strange dreams with cats too. But, you know, my dreams are always pretty weird. I had a time, when I didn’t sleep much and I was up all night and stuff and my dreams were really weird.
