i was just browsing the different subforums. it looked interesting, so i read every single topic [book-freak is i ^^;] and i loved it, and now i have bobby, jack, and end.
and nightmares are so mean to me. luckily, i haven’t had one in years. it might be because of my dream catcher, because i haven’t had a single nightmare since i bought it, so woo hoo.
i’ve been having really vivid dreams lately. i keep on trying to dream about bobby/jack/end, because that could trigger a “hey-maybe-this-is-a-dream-let-me-do-a-reality-check-oh-my-gosh-i-am-dream ing-EEEK!!” moment.

On the subject of nightmares… I’ve not had many, I’m that fortuanate!
I don’t quite know how to relate to the terrors that must com from them…
@ Crooked: I’ve got a Dreamcatcher too! I thought that may have been the cause of my not having nightmares for so long so I took out the insides. Now it’s a ring with feathers pointing right down at my head for everything to get through instead of a tangled web, but it didn’t change anything. I was hoping at least for some Placebo Effect action but it was a no go unfortunately

I have only perhaps… 3 characters. One of them, my favorite, is called Niente. (Which means “Nothing” in Italian… haha) He’s one of my older characters, and he himself is a lucid dreamer, even before I heard of it. (I just called him a very vivid dreamer at that time.) He’s a very nice and relaxed person.
So, I’m sort of new to CALD. Would I be on the right track about asking a DC to tell me when I’m dreaming before I fall asleep? Like if I’m just lying there… I’ll visualise myself telling him I want him to tell me when I’m dreaming?

Didn’t work this night, felt slightly more in control though in the normal dream. But I woke up at around 6, so maybe that was a sign to do a WBTB - Wish i had taken the chance.

bobby is pretty much not going to do me any favors, so my LD’ing rests in the palms of jack and end. i’m trying to get them to remember without me, so they don’t fall asleep…again.
but i DID have a false awakening this morning. i got up, turned the alarm clock off [i woke up before the alarm went off, and i wanted to sleep some more so i turned it off], went back to bed [because i’m so darn lazy], and then i woke up from the alarm, even though i turned it off.
so, from now on, the first thing i will do in the morning is talk to bobby/jack/end. depending on who’s awake, or who’ll be the least grumpy when i wake them.

I would say that asking within a dream, or visualization is certainly on the right track, but not specifically what most CALD users do :).
Most people interact with their characters after developing them while awake, like Crooked does!
However, if it works for you, then it certainly is a way to go! Would you mind if I kept it as a suggestion for others to try?

So far no LDs with Des and Thunzar but we still have conversations and a little of “arguments” with Thun. As for Des we have light conversations and it’s plesant being with him as compared to that…Thun XD goes to check previous posts

I had a dream the previous night as me being a queen and theres five knights sent out to protect me from kidnappers I supposed. {This dream must have being from Neo Angelique Abyss >.> }
Apparently, two of the five super handsome knights resembled Desmond and Thunzar greatly How do I tell? The knight who resembled Thunzar was jokey, hyper-active and laughs alot. While the other knight who resembled Desmond was a silent, serious guy but he had thrown warm smiles at me at times during fights XD Thunzar and Desmonds’ weapon are cool though O.O It’s a super long slick samurai sword {katana I suppose? } that look anime-ish X3
Yeah that’s about it and I had my first jump-off-building-experience
{It was only 2-3 stories high >.> } too since I was only partial lucided and roughly know that I will survive. It’s kinda cool knowing what could kill you in real life can’t even do a scratch to you Is looking forward to my next jump and dreams with Des and Thun XD

I guess you can only tell by the feeling. My characters looked similar, but not exactly as usual. But I had a strong understanding of who-was-who each time :3

Yep! I role-played a couple of times but not with Des and Thun… I do fantasy kind of role-play like ponies! embarassed XD It somehow helps to improve my english and let me use words that I never thought I ever learnt before Something like that… is bad with words
