chasing your dreams away

last night i was trying to enhance my dream recall by writing down my dreams… but i ended up waking up … writing… falling back into dream …waking up… writing… and so on… most of my writing/dreams all had the same theme to them when i finally woke up fully… i was being chased… or i was chasing something…

i have done some studying as to what dreams mean and have been successful in having dreams of the future… but the only thing that made sense to me was that i was chasing my dreams away or chasing my thoughts away… anyone have any tips as to how i can prevent this from happening again? i also wrote more then i usually do by doing this up write up write technic… but i guess that’s cause i’m still struggling with dream recall (any tips or teas that can help this would be greatly appreciated)

I still haven’t had my first LD, or I did and I can’t remember it, either way you want to look at it, but I’ll give this a shot. You can’t chase your dreams away. I struggle with dream recall, too, but I have found that the “Tomorrow, I will remember my dreams” method has worked well, at least for me. I think it is your sub-c that is telling you that you’re being chased, but you’re not really being chased and you’re not really chasing anything, except the ability to LD, I suppose. I wish some experienced ppl would help me out here and tell me if I am on the right track to explaining this or if I’m totally off, but that’s my explanation. Hope this helps. :om:
