I have noticed that many of you dream about the #LD4all chat, or other forms of chat, often. I dream about IRC maybe once a week. What does this chat look like in your dreams?
I imagine #LD4all as a computer lab room, with rows of desks with computers and people behind them. I can see both the text on my screen, and the actual people typing in the room. Often, they have no idea that it is possible to see each other! Many of the members have strong mental images, who stay the same from dream to dream.
Another room i visit a lot always looks the same, with a bar or counter dividing it, but where everybody can walk freely around getting food etc. It also has several doors leading to private chat.
Yet another regular room for me looks like the area between classrooms in the school i used to go to: a big open area filled with tables and comfortable chairs. It has a big window and a door leading to a private room which i have just recently been able to open.
Have you also used odd items to chat from in dreams, things that wouldn’t usually have an internet connection? I have used vending machines, calculators, the cash register at work…
