Check your cabin pressure

I posted this in a reply, but figured i’d post a small tip since I don’t post a lot for some who have trouble “finding signs” that they are dreaming.

The main thing to remember is

  1. you’re always temperature controlled. You won’t normally feel any intense heat or cold, anytime the weather seems perfect. You’re probably dreaming

  2. There is no gravity or what I call “cabin pressure”. The physical effects of gravity do not apply in a dream, therefore you feel little holding you down, You won’t feel the physical effects of gravity. So if you feel extra light on your feet, you’re probably dreaming

  3. Wind doesn’t normally change the temperature. A wind gust will not usually gust by and drop the surrounding temperature, that’s big hint there. Another one is you may never feel wind period, irl even a “windless” day still has wind, If you don’t feel wind, you’re probably dreaming

Environmental conditions are the most obvious but overlooked RC there is

So stop looking at your hands and just realize by your physical condition(and the surrounding conditions) you’re dreaming. You’ll have a lot more LD’s that way. I promise

:peek:

Great advice, zwitter!
Awareness of the environment is very important, and most experienced LD’ers are able to recognize a dream just because it “feels different”; I’ve heard people who “check for gravity” as a RC. And that is sure is a good list of differences. :content:

Yeah good tips. Except for gravity I never thought about the other tips you gave! Thanks!

Sound a lot like normal dream signs to me, but maybe this is not really relevant to me, because I have too many dream signs and not too little.

Interesting. I’ll probably use those as my reality checks now.
By the way, what’s with your name?
