I think that the point was made that your dream remains living for a period of time after you are “dead.” In relation to the natural chemical state the DMT induces this would be nearly forever.

I would argue that just as there is a mechanism for everything in this world there must be a mechanism for realeasing the soul from the body(if this happens and we don’t just die). Just like everything God has done on this earth works in certain ways for certain reasons, so does the death process.

What is the ‘dream’ if not what perception you receive while you are sleeping plus thought processes etc. The soul is involved, no doubt, that’s how it could go on. This ‘going on’ could be a means of how the soul perceives spiritual reality too.
