Just got my Calea Z, and in a very fine powdery form so I would be able to fill it in my capsules. But before I did, I read that it was a good idea first to check if you were allergic to the plant. I dabbed a bit of it inside my mouth below my tongue and on the side of my cheek. Tasted a bit like oregano, nothing to worry about at first. I was warned if i felt any itching or swelling to discontinue use immediatly. But I never got the swelling or the itching but I did get a slight numb sensation on the cheek area i exposed it to that lasted about an hour and then went away completely. No sensations on the tongue though, weird. It didn’t really bother me, it was just a little annoying to see that I did in fact get some sort of reaction but nothing serious. But i’m still concerned if this is considered a serious reaction that may get worse later on, especially in my body, or will it go away if i continue to get my skin used to the plant, so I could be…immune to it?
any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. i want to use my Calea!
