I just had this bizzare thought and maybe someone can tell me if its possible or not. I was wondering if maybe the most experienced lucid dreamer could possible from within the dream be focused enough to stay in the dream yet move his real limbs that are in his bed. With enough control eventually be able to walk in real life but be in a dream yet aware he is is moving in real life… kinda complicated but hahaha. The thing is tho he may hit invisible walls in his dream if he does…
Well I have had low lucidity dreams where I could feel my RL body in my lucid dream. I don’t know why you would want to do this though.
yes ive had that feeling too but what i was wondering if someone could completely move their body, lets say you can stand up and get out of bed all from within your dream…
I believe that this is not possible, because when we are asleep or better say when we dream we are under SP… Maybe in some extreme cases where one is already a sleepwalker, even though sleepwalking occurs in NREM sleep [the period during the first third of the nigh] not in REM sleep…
The most I know of a person moving is there eyes as a part of an experiment by Stephen LaBerge to see if dreams were in real time or not. Generally for me every time a RL part of my body has moved and I break out of SP I lose the dream. If I get the dream back, I lose my RL body again. It may be theoretically possible, but I find it painfully unlikely that someone could actually achieve it.

Some people actually can move in REM, but that’s really a medical disorder called REM Behavior Disorder (RBD) and can cause serious problems. Not something you would like.
