Hmm, I don’t know. Personally, I’ve had trouble freezing people in their tracks as well. For some reason time travel is really easy, but affecting other people’s time is much more difficult. The most I’ve ever been able to do is slow people down. The way I achieved that was by finding a magic ring or piece of jewellery with the power to stop time, and then invoking that by pointing it at someone and saying “Stop!”, etc. Perhaps that’s something you could try.
Creating things “out of nothing” is a different matter. It comes much more easily, though not often. Usually it happens without my thinking about it - ie, I’ll just conjure what I need automatically, so I don’t have to worry about trying to do it on purpose.
However, maybe it’s just your perception that makes it so difficult. I don’t really see it as creating something out of nothing - I think of it more as conjuring to you something that already exists somewhere else. It results in the same effect in the end, either way. Although nothing in dreams is really logical, it seems (to me) that it would be much easier to bring something to you that already exists, rather than making it up out of nothing. Maybe if you think of it as teleporting an object rather than creating one, you’ll find it easier.
These are just examples from my personal situation, so I can’t guarantee they’ll work for you, but you can always give them a try.
What do you mean by time Travel? Changing the scene or slowing down time? And how can I slow down time? I really have no clue how I’m supposed to do that!?
About creating objects: I’ll try the Teleporter thing
Maybe it needs just practice? My flying also took some practice before it started working…
Oops, sorry - I meant time travel in the generic sense of the word, nothing specific. Mostly regarding being able to travel into the past/future, whether it be by ten minutes or several years. For example, travelling back half an hour to prevent somebody from doing something stupid, that kind of thing.
As I mentioned in the last post, I personally found the easiest way to slow down time was to get hold of an object with that ability. That way it’s not really YOU slowing down time, it’s the object putting in all the effort. As I said, I find a ring works well if you point it at something and tell it to slow it down.
Your question has indeed been asked many times but that doesnt matter really. Anyway what Stormthunder suggested are ways to trick your (subconsicous) self into believing that you CAN summon anything or any scene you wish. Using a teleporter or whatever tricks you can think of can be very useful. However, there is also another way of practising of the conscious mind in conjuring up stuff. This means you dont need to trick yourself, it means that you realise that anything that is inside your dream is actually being created by some internal process and that you can consciously tap into this process. To practise this you have to start small, I started for example by pushing myself through solid objects and creating small things. Later on I started to create people too, etc. The more you do this, the easier it becomes. In the end you will have full control over the whole dream scene! Might take some time (or not…), because your subconscious (and probably your conscious self too!) are not used to such an amount of control. You really have to convince yourself that it is possible, but the time you put into it is certainly worth the effort. Just create that hot blonde by the snap of you fingers instead of futile attemps to find a teleporter… lol .
Nice to hear from you!Yeah I try to convince myself that everything is possible inside the dream and I actually know it is but my subc seems to need some time to catch up. I guess it needs just practice. It was the same with flying at the beginning it was aweful hard but now it gets easier and easier. Wish I had more LD!
I think that you should proceed very slowly. Start by working single things into your dreamscape in a way which blends with what is already happening. For instance if you would like a certain person to make an appearance in your lucid dream, don’t just try to materialise that person in front of you. Examine your surroundings and plan that persons appearance. If there are buildings around pick one and say something to the effect of "When I enter that building (or a certain room in that building) Mr or Mrs X will be there.
Your subconscious mind needs time to plan out your dreamscape in this way, so don’t try to overload it by expecting instant results - this will more than likely cause the dream to fade or you will just wake up.
If you work things into the existing dream world in a subtle way like this, you should find that your dream control increases gradually, and you will eventually find that control becomes easier.
Like anything else in life the best way to master it is slowly, one step at a time. Do it gradually and it will work.
Hope this helps.
When I am in a dream and I want somthing done I just will it to be done and it is done. I believe that all I have todo is will it and my dream will comply. Like the other freakin’ night, my jeep I was driving was all beat up and beginning to slow down. I jumped out and said “REPAIR!” I knew in my head what I wanted done and I expected it to be done, and it was!
If you were to jump out yell “repair” and then wounder if it will work or not, it really wont. you need to expect and know it will work (whatever it is you want todo) I used to be a little skeptical myself, I didnt think I had full control over my dreams. so I really didnt, but now I know that it is MY dream and it does what I want it to, so I have control.
However I would learn to increase the length of LD’s before attempting more control. Whats the point in having control for only like 10 seconds? I would wait until you have got that LD length up to about a minute or three. But if you already have that hey go for it
