Sometimes me and my friends talk about dreams and some of them say that can recognise when theyre dreaming. But when they carry on telling me the dream they dont say whether theyre controlling it or not.
They dont know what LD is so I wont ask them that but could they be maybe something near to lucid if they can recognise dreamsigns easily?
Oh how I envy that >.<
If they know that they are dreaming during one or more dreams THEN they have LDs.
If they just get these without techniques then they are natural lucid dreamers.
Dream control and lucid dream are related but are different things. Therefore, in lucid dreams you may or not control your dreams. Also, you might have control in dreams that are not lucid. Usually these dreams are FLDs (false lucid dreams) but that’s not a rule.
I know for me that lucid dreaming is when i become aware that I’m in a dream, and can consciously make my own decisions based on the fact that everything around me isn’t real. I don’t practice any methods or techniques, but I have between 2-4 LD’s a month, and i’ve had it happen for years now.
DEILD is the only way i’ve ever had LD’s, and it’s not even from dreamsigns. they can happen naturally without actually doing anything, so it is possible they are having LDs.
but what it feels like to me, is that i suddenly wake up, but im still in my dreams. I feel completely awake and do whatever I want to do, such as goals i made or things i just want to try inside a dream, but i somehow become detached from the dream itself, and im just consciously in another world.
aside from LD’s, i think i have a lot of FLDs, where inside my dream i basically can do anything but i’m not aware that it isn’t the real world.
