CPILD -- Cell Phone Induced Lucid Dream?

Last night, I woke up and before falling asleep again, I just kept telling myself that I will realize that I’m dreaming. I thought of doing the FILD technique which I had read about here, but frankly felt too tired to even twitch my fingers over and over again so I thought that I’d count down from 30, the whole time expecting my cell phone to ring and my friend to tell me that I was dreaming when I reached 0. So I started counting, and next thing I know I was on a crowded bus going somewhere. Not much longer after that, lo and behold my cell rings! It wasn’t my friend though, it was ME!!! And my voice told myself “You’re dreaming now.” over the phone. I put the phone back in my pocket and got off the bus, but quickly woke up into SP (which happened the other night as well.)

So I’m not trying to coin some new technique (the subject is more of a joke) but I just thought I’d share that with others and see if it’ll help ya’ll in your quest for lucidity.

hah, thats pretty cool.

Last night i had some very crazy dreams of which most of them came about from a movie i watched last night. Waynes World. The name of the acarde in the movie is Noah’s Arc-ade, and the last thing i did before bed was look at the moon. so i had a dream where i was on noahs arc with only people though, with some really modern bathrooms. at some point i looked up and the moon was HUGE, it really was a site to behold. Also a dream about me being a terminator.

I kept hearing my phone get a msg in the dream and was constantly looking for my phone but never found it, at one point i thought it was in a toilet. This got me thinking today about using my phone more to remind me to RC and some way to induce a LD. Your way seems pretty awsome.

Even though your not trying to claim a new technique i certainly think it will help some people. i’m gunna try what you did, or something simillar tonight while doing WILD.

If i do become lucid i will try and meet myself, hoping for some pretty interesting dreams, thanks again. Foote

That was really cool story, Skidzz! Maybe it isn’t much, but I think it could work out pretty well. That’s awesome. I definetly have to try that one out.

But may I ask some questions? Was the dream vivid? And did you have to relax before starting to sleep again? Oh, and do you think that you could achieve longer dreams with this technique?

Thanks. I’m gonna try this tonight, or tomorrow night!

I was going to do that technique long ago but it is difficult because there is only one cellphone in my house and is not mine.

Hehe, I don’t even have a cellphone.
