Daydreaming, Dreaming, LD'ing-Twilight dreaming?

I remember i had this dream by morning,i woke up and kept sleeping but i started sleeping on back and w/ my legs up like this --> /V0, and somehow spontaneously i decided to remember my previous dream intensily and i would feel this smooth but deep feeling and then i was daydreaming but at the same time dreaming (and here is where the help is needed)

I then was dreaming of the show of Cash Cab (discovery channel) but at the same time like still daydreaming a bit and i saw this woman’s face, but the reason i think i was lucid (or semi) is that the details of her face were beyond daydreaming, and the reason that i think i wasn’t daydreaming is that i wasn’t thinking of her…
Then i saw another guy hopping into the Cash Cab w/ that woman, and then i was watching the guy’s face for few seconds and it was real but i was TOO LIGHTLY WOKEN to keep it up.
BUT BECAUSE I’M NOT 100% SURE WHAT WAS THAT, I NEED YOUR HELP!.

Thanks for the help,

P.S.
It’s strange because the first ld i had was by late January aswell 3 years ago,
and now my first ld after like 1-2 years.

That’s perfectly normal. You hopped back into a dream. It happens all the time. It was just a plain ND, only that it was very short.

I don’t think it was a ‘‘plain ND’’, i mean, in this dream, i was semi-concious, and the people’s faces i was staring @, is something i never do in a plain ND, plus, the dream was VERY VIVID, i could see all the details of the woman’s face…
but you might be right, though i think that if it wasn’t a LD, it was a pretty vivid ND or it could’ve been a low but vivid LD.
I want second oppinions but thanks Twilight for your comment.

I think it was something between the waking and sleeping state. In those times, you fall easily sleep meaning you can really imagine all kinds of things, and they kinda pull you into the “dream” and you think you are awake but you don’t really know.

I had similiar experience just shortly, where I had my relaxation exercise. I started thinking about something, and suddenly I noticed that I’ve been dreaming it like the past 10 minutes.

I don’t really know, but I would say it was something like between daydreaming and dreaming (LDing).

  • Just thought I’d say my opinion.

Yeah i think too that could’ve an inbetween , but then a thin line is between daydreaming and dreaming or maybe they’re not that different and are actually the same thing, only that one is when the physical body is more active and one is when is passive.
And that they are basically the way the mind wanders to ‘‘free the soul’’.

Cool, I was thinking of posting something like this. I’ve been trying to WILD and have had this same “problem”. It’s hard for me to see the line that separates daydreaming and dreaming. The few WILDs I’ve had had really low vividness, so that helped to make me think they were only daydreams. But, this morning, for example, at one point I tried to fly, but fell on my face, lol. So I thought later, that if that had been a daydream I wouldn’t have had that problem and would have “imagined” myself flying away…

So, I think that if there are things in our dreams/daydreams that we realize we are not willingly controlling we can consider it a dream. Things like the gravity in my dream, or the people in yours. Like, when we (think we) are daydreaming and suddenly say “hey, were did that come from? I didn’t think of that.” then I guess it means or unconscious mind is creating things, so it’s a dream.

Don’t know if this even makes sense,
but, anyway… cool to know I’m not the only one confused by this.

But remember that ld’ing is not controlling the dream, but actually being aware that it is…Still, seems like what i had wasn’t a ld, but i’m not sure because part of me had the notion that it was a dream; but whether was a ld or not, the dream was obviosuly different from others, it was VERY VIVID, something i don’t get nor in a DAYDREAMING, nor in a ND…
i finish my comment w/ your quote:
‘’…Don’t know if this even makes sense,

MY SIDE THEORY:(after your reading your comments)
LD-being aware that is a dream.
Daydream- wander the mind in imagination w/ high control of the content.
[they’re basically ld w/ much lower intensity but more control.]
ND- wander the mind but no awareness nor no control of the content.

Results- I wasn’t controling the content, it was very vivid, and i had like a bit less of 50% of awareness as much.
So we can conclude that if i wasn’t controling the content, it couldn’t be a daydream, but a ND, but if i was half lucid it couldn’t be a ND.
=My conclusion is that it could’ve been more likely either a pre-ld or a low ld.

But that is my conclusion  , not necesarily the actualy fact.
That’s why i need second oppinions.

Yeah, I agree with your conclusion… makes sense to me.

Yeah, but whatever it was, it was good.

Have you considered Extensive HI? something similar to day dreaming, only that you got no control of?

Extensive HI? never heard of, but in terms of HI, i guess a HI is basically a fragment of a dream, like a light particle from the sun light right?
Can you explain more about this Ext.HI? :eh:

Well, by extensive HI, I mean normal HI that lasts longer and resembles a trasperent dream. I don’t realy know how to explain that, but it is on the border batween actual dreams and waking state.

Oh;
Now that you mention ‘‘trasparent dream’’, when i was having whatever i had it was sort of ‘‘trasparent’’, i mean, it was like visually solid but at the same time sort of ‘‘trasparent’’ aswell. As you said, it is hard to explain. Maybe it was that.

P.S.
200 posts!! :twirl:
