Dead Meat in Dreams

Moved from the First Steps subforum, which is made for beginners to ask their first questions about lucidity

When I was 11-13 years old I used to dream dreams of myself dying all the times and every night I woke up shocked.
Those were all ND, I think.

I can remember some of the dreams, that is, only the end part when I’m about to die.

Well, here goes two of 'em.

I was climbing on a gigantic mountain, covered in ice and snow.
I remember I had a company with me.
When we were at top, somehow I slipped, either something pushed me down the mountain so I fell all the way down and ultimately, I woke up in a shock.

I was working on a ship, when suddenly a large, furious sailor (probobly the the captain) comes to me, yells at me, takes me up and kicks me with his primary foot long way up in the air so I lend in the sea and 5-10 secs later, I drown.

I was just wondering, does this actually mean something for me?
Or is it just a common dreamsign, or am I missing something out?
I mean, I used to wake up from a ND when I simply died in a dream at this period, 11-13 years old.
Then one day, it was over.

I remember I was afraid the dreams were telling me that this meant I was going to die soon enough IRL.
But now I know I have nothing to worry about. :alien:

I’ve asked relatives and friends about it, but I get various and/or uncertain answers.

Excuse me if a thread about this topic already exists.

Hmm, normally death in dreams is just a common dream sign, but it’s possible for that to reflect on your real life if it occurs very frequently. Now, you say that these dreams have ended very suddenly for you; do you remember any sudden changed in your personal life at the time as well? If so, perhaps there is some sort of connection to that, but it’s really up for you to interpet your own dreams. If you have a strong feeling that they meant something, try to find out more from your subconcious. If not, then perhaps they never meant anything in the first place.

:hmmm: Even if one does already exist, there’s a chance that it’s probably old, perhaps in the archive in that case.

Back to the dreams; I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you. While some dreams have meanings, others are just plain nonsense!

Thanks alot BlissfulBlues,

I havn’t had any strong feelings for changes in my life until the year I was 16.
But I’ve always been very changeable.
I do things that I wouldn’t even imagine to do now and so on. Perhaps this meant major changes, but I don’t remember it well enough.

You think meditation would help?

Haha, brilliant reasoning!

Although I have been meditating for a while, I’m not so sure how meditation can help someone understand signs from their subconcious. Instead, why not explore through these ideas through lucid dreams? It might just be possible to ask your SC what some signs mean while dreaming. That is, assuming that you have lucid dreams occasionally – do you have much luck with lucid dreaming? It’s fine if you don’t.

:hmmm: This could be a great idea for your lucid adventures; you could possibly create a library that contains the information on your dream signs, or come up with your own dream signs. The possibilities are endless! :cheesy:

Great idea!

No, actually I don’t remember having one, but as soon as I’m able to LD, then I’ll find my SC and ask him.

Thanks, once again!

Wait, are you referring to your Spirit Guide, (SG)? It just seems that way based on how you put it. That might be a good idea, I haven’t thought of that.

Oh, and one more thing; if your SG is a woman, it might be considered rude to refer to her as him when you don’t know her too well.

Hypothetically speaking, of course. :content:

Yeah, I thought you ment SG all the time.
Hehe, somehow I mixed these abbreviations together. :ack:

Well, I just hope to meet my SG as soon as possilble in any form and gender he/she/it will appear in. :yay:
