I setup a simple minecraft hard mode survival server on a free 1gb amazon web services EC2 instance. Its a pretty reliable remote server that’s almost always up.
Entering or exiting the Nether is still buggy, I’m not sure when they’re going to patch that ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: it’s offline now, the free tier started billing me
Oh, that’s neat! 
Sadly I only play Java since I’m a Linux user…but it’s hard for me to play games like this right now anyhow because of my arthritis issues.
