I was riding the bus on the way home, and I fell alseep. I started seeing images, and it felt like I was dreming, but I could feel my body, too, as it tossed and turned on the bus. Did I do a WILD, somehow?
I guess it was a daydream (but I’m not that strong on this topic, wait for someone else to confirm).
I’d say you were in the twilight zone, between sleep and wakefulness. What you experienced is HI. So no you didn’t WILD, but you were starting to .
He said it felt like a dream, and the main difference between HI’s and dreams is that dreams are much longer (HI’s last from 1 second to 1 minute (1min is the fully formed HI, on the border of a dream), and dreams can last forever (well atleast until you die)).
@togro: For how much did one single scene last?
@Beat Doctor
Well if he was dreaming then he wouldn’t be able to feel his body. It takes about 90 minutes to get into REM sleep, and in REM sleep is generally where dreams take place, also at that state chemicals are released into your body and paralysis occurs. So it’s not likely he was dreaming because he said that he could still feel his body tossing and turning. So the other possibilities are HI and HH, I’d say he experienced HI because he did explain seeing images.
I cannot really remember. The whole dream was a blur. I was trying to go to sleep on the bus for about twenty minutes. Does that help you?

Lolwut. WILD is about taking shortcuts. Directly from wake to REM. You get what I mean?
Feeling your body is just depended on your awareness. When I start exiting a lucid dream, I feel my real and my dream body in the same time. He either experienced this or a HI scene. After all, like I said, there is no much difference between a dream and a HI, except in length.
Ah, well I guess it all comes down to the type of person you are. I personally have never felt my real body while being in a dream .
