Difficulties staying lucid

Hi it’s me again!

Few months ago I found some article of lucid dreaming and I decided to give it a try. Made some research of it and tested it every night for almost a month without success and almost gave up. But a week after I gave up I had dream where I become lucid. I cannot remember all details of that dream but it was something about going on a long trip with my classmates and some girls from other class in my school. (girl guy ratio in my school is 15:1000)
My trigger was airport which looked just like my school. I was all happy that I finnaly became lucid when I got strange feeling of spinning and loosing ground from my feet. Kinda same as being so drunk you can barley walk. I successfully regain lucidity few times but after it I woke up feelling like a milion bucks. That feeling kept me on for next few days.

SO here come question again:

  1. Shouldn’t spinning only prevent me to keep lucidity and not actually wake me up?
  2. The awesome feeling is it present after all lucid dreams or only fristone?

Tnx for answears. Have fun!

Well,

  1. I never really understood the concept of spinning completely. It is true it can keep you on alert and sometimes ground you more, but at the same time, you pretty much lose a stable visual sensory, so that’s not something I recommend  as for the random spinning sensation, one thing to do is to take action, and do a few aerobic exercises, like jumping jacks, or just moving around in general. Put some enthusiasm in that, and you’ll leave that dizziness behind ^^
  2. The awesome feeling stays as long as you keep the wonder for each LD you have. Not that’s hard, as they are such awesome experiences

Unlike tosxy I have had good luck with spinning. Like he said, you will lose your vision which is why I’ve learned to use it only once my vision has faded. It works really well to keep myself anchored in the dream when hand rubbing alone isn’t enough.

And nothing feels better than waking up after a really great LD. It’s enough to keep you smiling all day :content:.
