Do you think I'm doing Okay for a first time or not?

I just tried last night to get my first Lucid Dream, I think I failed because I can’t remember a Lucid Dream, but strangely I waked up 2 times a night.

1st time I woke at 4:57 and I was thinking all actively and had a fast heartbeat but couldn’t remember the dream.

2nd time I woke at 5:02 and remembered every detail of the dream.

And then I woke up at the normal time my alarm clock goes off (7.00) and don’t remember anything.

This may seem small but I always stay asleep at night until morning and never remember any of my dreams. Never.

Is this a good sign? A Bad Sign?

(I used WBTB unintentionally and MILD purposly)

waking up in the night is good because you can reset the intention to become lucid and also to remember your dreams

If you never remember dreams otherwise and you try this one time and remember a dream, it’s a good sign.

Keep your dream diary for a good couple of weeks first before attempting lucid induction techniques. Remembering dreams is really important to inducing lucidity, not only so you can remember a lucid event but also so that you can identify dreamsigns to allow MILD to be more effective. Experiment with a few different dream recall techniques, see what works best for you, what appeals to you the most.
Just have fun with your dream journal for the next couple of weeks, don’t rush in too fast with the Lucid induction techniques - you have the rest of your life to perfect your lucid dreaming abilities.

Thanks, it’s looking hopeful, although I didn’t have a Lucid Dream this time I rememberd 3 dreams (woke up 3 times) this time which I think is pretty good for me because I never remember them.

(Every time I wake up I combine WBTB with MILD and go back to sleep)

But thanks for replying, it helps.
