wow, i gotta make one… that’s just too cool.
Made one and put in on the top of a shelf so I can see it everytime I walk by.
If I look at it from a distance and then slowly walk up to it it still seems to follow me.
THIS IS SO COOL!
Thanks Muffin de Bran!
thats really kool and cute
I printed it (in black & white), and it works quite well if in proper light (no shadows). Thanks for great link!
Actually, I think it’s more to do with depth perception rather than gullibility .
I had it under a strong light source and it didn’t work, I moved it to a more even but more dim area and it worked great. pretty much the coolest thing you can make with paper
o.o ‘-.-’ o.o
Heh, that’s exactly what I did at first.
And you’re welcome for the link.
I had my family over today for thanksgiving, and everyone was running around with an eye closed like a bunch of escaped mental patients This thing is so great!
Has anybody tried what the site suggest about putting it in glass? Like a fish bowl? It says it helps the effect.
I’d try it, but I don’t have a fish bowl or anything of the sort.
I put it in this vase thingy. Eh, I think it looks better without it, the effect works good enough as is, the glass only helps it a tiny bit at close range.
wow thats really cool. I’m gonna try to make one myself.
I guess the only reason that would work would be it would be distorted and harder to see what it actually is… But then it would take away from the effect anyways.
haha thats exactly what happed on my thanksgiving but if you put it in a glass jar you dont have to close one eye.

I have made one, and it looks great from the far corner in my kitchen. I laugh when I walk from either side of the room and it stares at me … I think it’s hilarious.
