Ive been thinking about this topic lately as regards to lucid dreaming. I think it would be splendid to be able to manifest an animal that would act as your guardian in your dreams. Something to relate it to in order for it to make more sense would be the Golden Compass. Everyone had an animal that was part of themselves that they had an eternal connection to.
I think that’d be an awesome concept in a lucid dream to have and it’s one of my top ranking LD goals.
I think what you’re referring to is what some people might refer to as a spirit guide. Don’t get me wrong, not all people think their spirit guide is an animal, but in most cultures that is the case. Closest thing I got was a giant white wolf named Explanion. He was very awesome.
Haha I totally wasn’t thinking of spirit guides at all when I was thinking about spirit animals, but yeah, that is basically the same thing that I was thinking of
