Ok, so I’ve had lucid dreams where I’ve flown, used psychic powers…etc. But for some reason, everytime I get lucid in a dream and see a dream character, their face will almost always be faceless. However, in a ND I can always see their faces perfectly. Why? Is there a way to fix this? I usually see the rest of their body features just fine. 
I would suggest focusing on this topic for quite some time. I have had similar issues, and only when I came to understand that it was my lack of interest in the topic causing myself to experience these things was I able to overcome them. You may have the same issue. I would suggest beginning a small line of research.
Begin trying to LD more often, for starters. Record everything having to do with your DC’s separately from your normal journal (that doesnt mean leave all the parts of your dream where your DC’s are out of your journal, write them down, but add more explicit detail to the journal involving your DC’s). Record their behavior, what they do, what they say (if they can say anything without a mouth, that is), and try to find out why they have no faces. Ask them questions. Consult your dream guide, their only there to be your mentors. Consult the greatest resource your have, your subconscious. You might be able to find that he/she can help you more than anyone else, given you are able to contact him/her. If all else fails, try and speak to a specific DC. If you know what they look like beforehand, you just might be able to see more details of them. After you can see this one person, continue the practice until you are able to see many at once. Then continue, and so on, until you can see crowds of DC’s with perfect clarity.
