You are right. It appears that when I changed the type of the text box, so that it could show formatted text, it lost its ability to display the right-click menu. Just hit Ctrl-V, it still works. I will try to correct that, but I’m not sure, if I’m able to.
very nice little program you have made. Just one quick suggestion.
Make the basic functions of the font editing(color, bold, underline, italics, etc.) more easily accessible. Maybe have each have their own button on the main screen. I think this would be better than having to go through the pop-up window every time you want to change the text. I mainly say this because I know a lot of time people like to color code their dreams(as you can see in the dream journals section on here). But if it is a pain to do programming wise, I wouldn’t bother, it works as it is, I just think this would make it more user-friendly/accessible.
I was thinking about it, but I found it quite hard do to like this. Of course, it is not impossible, but it would take much effort to make nice looking and functional buttons for font properties, and without making options area bigger than text area
I downloaded the software and it works and everything. I just don’t know how to save the dream because once I enter the dream and exit the program. I get back on the program and I can’t click on anything and I can’t open up my previous dream .
Just bring up the blank program.
Then hit File: New and make something, and then save it.
When you open it you will need to open that file every time.
Then after you enter your day’s dreams, just save it and exit out, you can bring it back up next time.
Strange, it works for me.
Maybe if you use Opera it tries to display it instead of downloading it. Try right-clicking the link and selecting “Save target as…”.
