Dream entering reality.

Ok, this weekend I had an awesome, but somewhat scary experience.

I saw a dream about me being in a car, and I noticed a spider on the floor. I generally dont like spiders, so my first reaction was to squash him with a shoe.

As I lifetd the shoe to hit the spider, I woke up.

“whoa, what a bizzare dream” was my first thought. I looked at a clock and performed a RC. It was “reality”.

Suddenly, something slapped me on the back of my head. I felt some pain, and the hit produced slight sound.

Terrified, I rushed to turn on the light. I was really afraid it’s a FA and something is about to attack me from behind.

The lamp turned on and I hesitated a second before looking back. I quickly looked behind me, and there wasnt anything.

I was amazed and somewhat shocked.

For the next 10 min or so I performed reality checks and was writing down my dream…

Could it be that my intention to hit the spider in a dream carried to real life?

Most unusual Mr Ev

Did the slap draw blood or make a bruise? It’s possible that you hallucinated the hit.

yeah, sometimes under the right conditions dream content can linger over into real life for a bit, one time i woke up (prematurely perhaps?) from a really trippy sort of… i don’t know what to call it, you might call it an AP, but it was initiated from a dream, it was like floating around inside the psychedelic inner eye visuals that you sometimes get, i’ve only done this a few times…

but at any rate, when I woke up, I could see this red geometric spotted pattern (as if made by lasers) on the wall, wherever I turned my head, the pattern went, it was as if it was burned into my vision… I drew it… so that’s how I know I was awake (i’m not an artist, the drawing sucked horribly)… so… it eventually faded away after about 30 seconds.

i also find that if you enter HI, and wake up suddenly, and your eyes are open, or you open your eyes, you can sometimes still see a lingering HI afterimage wherever you turn your gaze.

There is a term for this, it’s the opposite of hypnagogic hallucinations, it happens coming out of sleep, but I don’t know what it is.

So the same can hold true for sounds and feelings too.

There wasnt any “damage”.

It felt like someone mildly slapped my head or something…

I once imagined a tennis ball was ocming towards me when I was really tired laying on a bed on holiday… and imagined myself hitting the tennis ball and htinking how funny it would be to actually lift up my arm and hit it… I didnt htink I would do it cuz I wasi magining that it would bve funny IF IT happened… but lo’ and behold… my arm raised up and attempted to hit the ball… I wasnt veen asleep… lol!

also this morning I woke up at exactly 7:30 in distress thinking I was late, I had had a dream I was being shouted at to wake up from outside my room… I asked my mum to wake me up at 7:30 but she was no where near my room…

I always seem to wake up at the correct times… its odd
