Before I start, I wasn’t sure where to post this, I thought Garden of Creation at first but I didn’t feel this really belonged there, anyways feel free to move it to any other place that could be more appropriate.
Anyways, i’ve been working on developing a DJ application for a while, I haven’t really worked on it much lately since I don’t have much free time anymore. But I managed to complete it to a point where I can save my entries and read them later. The entries are saved according to the current year and month and that makes it easier for browsing. I developed this application for personal use but I thought someone else might be interested in using it or something.
Anyways here are some snapshots I took so you guys can see how it looks as of yet, I borrowed many images from LD4all to make it look similar and give it a dream-like feeling.
By the way, PasQuale, I’d like to know if its totally ok to use these images in the application, I just want to make sure I don’t violate anything and cause problems.
Anyways please tell me what you think and give me some suggestions!
I’ve been looking around for something like this!
I probably wouldn’t use a DJ program, for many reasons.
It’s definitely an interesting idea. I’m positive there are people out there who’d use it.
However, there might be a problem with a program being a DJ.
When you wake up at night, there you couldn’t afford to press the ‘turn on’ button and wait until your computer and the program start.
You need something quicker, a notebook, the standard DJ.
Unless you plan on keeping your computer turned on all night.
You can always have a notebook beside your bed to make notes during the night, then make a formal record of your dreams in the software.
Advantages of using software is you can set it to track themes you may be dreaming about, easily create statistics, find what is really working best for you!
Exactly! You should keep something to write basic stuff nearby when you wake up! And then you can recreate an entry in the software from what you wrote before.
Also the statistics is really a great idea, and I’ll be sure to implement it ASAP
I’m trying to make this application to be as ‘‘user customized’’ as possible!
