My dream recall has gotten worse and worse to the point that i don’t remember dreams at all anymore, It’s because i normaly rush for college in the mornings so i don’t get time to write in my Dream Journal, but then i noticed that I’d stopped remembering dreams so i started saying to myself “When i wake up i will remember my dreams” when i go to sleep but it’s had very little effect.
So is there any other ways to improve my dream recall until my dream recall improves enough to remember a dream to write down?
I’ve noticed that once you have a method that works it’s effect often weakens over time, because your actions become automatic and you no longer communicate with your subconsious. For this reason it can help to change your methods once in a awhile. One method you could try is putting your wish for better recall in a sigil if you never tried that before (search the forum to find out how sigils works).
I recommend you to, before sleep, visualizate you waking up. Visualizate waking up and remembering the dream, without moving in your bed. Then visualizate you excited about remembering it and visualizate you writing it down to your Dream Journal. Do not only say the words, but see it happening. You will remember it. Can you see it?
Also, try to wake up 1 hour before you usually do. That will help you also with dream recall.
