Dream Recall

I must say, I’m very impressed with this site. It’s a great resource for my recent discovery of LDing. Before I read this site from front to back, I hadn’t remembered a dream in I don’t know how long. The same night I visited this site, I remembered 3 in the same night. Each night after that I continued to remember 1 or more but each day they got less vivid. Now, it’s been about 3 or 4 days since I’ve remembered a dream. Anyway, I’m not going to give up. I’d like to get at least 2 or 3 weeks of good dream recall before I try the induction techniques.

When I first discovered LDing, I also started remembering a lot more dreams. I would recommend creating a dream journal if you haven’t already. After using one for just a couple weeks, I noticed a very significant increase in dream recall.

Because of factors such as school, work and plain lazyness, I haven’t been using a dream journal lately though. To my surprise I’m still having good dream recall even without it (it’s been at least a year since my last entry). Still no lucid dreams yet :bored: , but it’ll come eventually! Maybe I should pull out my journal again…

yea, journal is a must have most say. I would agree, if I don’t write… no LD’s, or less frequent. Also, less dreams in general. It gives your mind a reason to remember, an intention, and you remember!

Definatlely start a journal if you haven’t! Good luck with LDing and dreams in general Kritterman. Welcome to ld4all as well

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually began a dream journal the night I visited the site. Started with paper and recently purchased “Dream Answers” to keep them on my computer. Early on, I would wake up and remember many details on my dreams. Writing as many as 3 or 4 pages on paper. Now when I wake up after a dream, I remember so little of the details I decide not to record it. Laziness? Maybe if I make a habit of getting up anyway, recording what I do remember, more will come to me. Thanks again and happy dreaming!

You can also use minirecorder. Many of us do.Just put it by your bed and record anything you feel/remember even in the middle of the night. Then when its morning or when u have a little time ,put it down on paper/computer.
good luck
