When i become lucid i face challenges that prevent me from experiencing the dream.
For example i am in my bed and i know i am dreaming… but to be safe i try to look at my hands, i move them in front of my vision but
can’t see them… i try to get up but my head feels locked in place. Other times i would try to rise up but every time i did i would reset in my bed.
At first this was very frighting but i gotten use to it trying to figure out solutions…
does anyone else experience this?

I wish to improve the overall quality of my dreams the type i have, it’s vividness and my memory to recall them but i have a hard time keeping a dream journal.
When i write in my dream journal and reflect on them i can barely mentally recreate the dream… i just feel like I’m reading and not actually returning to the experience.
For issues with movement, the best advice I can give is to just get out of bed without thinking. No need to worry about losing the dream, you can always do things to save/extend the dream. Doing an action you do every day like simply getting up is very easy to do. If you think you keep “resetting,” make sure to anchor yourself in the dream before doing anything else like rubbing your hands or feeling your bed- whatever you can do to activate your senses.
As for getting your hands in the picture, try to reach out and grab an object. It may help you create an image of them if you actually have an intention in mind other than just looking at them.
For more vivid dreams, whenever you write in your DJ, or better yet when you first wake up, try to recall any details you possibly can. Write down any smells, the way things felt, your feelings, whatever you can do to include everything the dream was like.
I hope I was clear enough, but let me know if you need anything else
