When I was alot younger…
I guess it was about 7 years ago, maybe more…
I had a dream one night which continued for 4 days…
Now the dream WASN’T repeating itself, but it had sequels…
that lasted for 4 nights…
then after several years I dreamed about one of the 4 dreams again…
and now several days ago, I dreamed about a dream I had aproximately 1 year ago…
I relived the entire dream, like watching a rerun…
Why do people sometimes dream a dream they already had before ?
And can I make myself a dream that will have sequals for several nights after that ?
like 6 nights or so…
like being a part of a whole story…
Can I program thorugh lucidity my brain so I can have sequals of a specific dream story ?
I heard that people get the same dreams because thier brain is trying to tell them something, but we just aren’t getting it.
I have had a dream where I was given these two dogs by a huge family.I did keep continuing to have dreams about those two dogs for a few times.
I guess if you wanted to have those kind of dreams you could start one in your LDs by telling your dream to take you to a story. The next time you have a LD you can continue telling your dreams to take you back to the story and continue it,until it’s over.
I hate those dreams that desrve an ending, but never get them
I agree also, try and figure out what the dreams could symbolize IRL, and if they don’t seem to mean anything, approach them from a different perspective; think outside the box. Or tell your dreams to someone who knows you well IRL and maybe they will notice something you haven’t.
To have LD sequels, there is a general method LaBerge offered involving isolating your thoughts to that idea alone…can’t remember right now…but I don’t see why that wouldn’t be possible.
One of my dreams that I remember most vividly was a “dream sequel” that I had when I was about 7. I remember this dream so clearly because I was able somehow achieve the “highest” level of lucidity people speak of all the time. I remember lying down to sleep and simply recalling the ending sequence of the final dream I had on the previous night. Amazingly enough, (and boy do I wish I could do this all the time) within 10 seconds (literally), I jumped straight into the dream state (I could tell it was 10 seconds because I could still hear the background sound of my mom in the kitchen as the dream appeared). My dream was vivid as real life and not once did I forget I was dreaming. And guess what this lucid dream was. Any ideas? It was a sequel to the dream I was recalling.
