moved from lab to beyond dreaming. There is a shared dreaming topic in this forum
So, I was wondering if it’s possible to enter another person’s dream while they are sleeping and you are lucid? Has anybody done this before, or at least tried it? I was wondering if this is possible because a close friend of mine recently said they wanted to try lucid dreaming and I was thinking, “Hey, maybe I can get them lucid!” So, what do you think?
In my opinion, one has to first have decent skills with astral projection to be able to accomplish this. You then visit the sleeping person and enter into their dreams in a complex yet simple way.
The Chroniclers group on this site, has been attempting this for a long while. I think the idea was to use the joint Lucid Dreamers creative powers to launch a common dream scenery, and then meet up there. It’s fun, but to my recollection they’ve found no results from this so far.
I’ve initiated out of body experiences that sometimes turn into what I believe must be a dream world, but have never been able to verify if I was sharing it with any specific person. I forgot which author referred to his astral projection scenes as “lockmold”, but that’s the gist of it. (Might have been Robert Peterson, which has his chapters and experiences online.)
As for the 3rd Eye, I’ve developed that as well, but all it does is tickle and ache. I don’t recommend it as a focusing point because of the imbalance in occult literature, the third eye is way over-represented, and I think this encourages people to neglect developing the rest of their body (whether psychic or material,) and discourages people from thinking creatively and intuitively because they think they can third eye everything… when I’m still unsure if all those authors really know what it can do, what it’s supposed to do, if it even does anything. Hypothetically, the second stomach would be more suited to this purpose, or create a link with your heart, or key in with the sacrum.
ABout the 3rd eye technique I dont mean use it exclusivley, A person would still have to be almost a natural LD’er and already be able to project in certain ways.
about the group thing, I would think that would be nearly impossible as there has to be some for m of a strong connection or attatchment to the person, another family member would be easiest/.
Just been thinking of this myself. What I’d thought I’d try is based on a Native American visualization using a ‘Medicine Place’. So the idea is to go to your medicine place in a lucid dream and form a ‘misty pathway’ into someone elses dream. Maybe someone more familiar with Native American techniques could comment more but its a techniques used to trave; spiritually and I wondered if it would work in a LD. Sounds crazy I know but then so is the idea of being able to link with someone in a dream. We just need to find a way.
