Ok I recently posted a topic about something I found i can do,
when I wake in the morning, if I just lay on, and imagine something, it turns into a dream very quickly, say I imagine driving, I’ll have a dream about driving.
But these aren’t LD’s. This morning I tried some advice from someone, imagine myself doing an RC. So I tried, it led to a random dream, but I felt like I had a good bit of consciousness and realized I was dreaming, suddenly a rush of an excited feeling rushed through my stomach and i woke up… This annoyed me muchly… But was that going to turn into an LD before I let myself get too excited? How can I stop this, I can’t stop the feeling In-Dream because the rush feeling is almost instant. Thanks.
Well, it actually was a lucid dream, since you realized for a (very brief, tho) moment that you were asleep.
Congrats for being able to turn your images into dreams, that is really good.
There is a way to stop your awakening.
You need to relax (taking a deep breath, for example, should help) and rub your hands or touch things from the dreamworld, which will make the dream more stable.
Wow, I feel better now I know i’m getting closer. but I mean its hard to calm down because it ends within seconds, but I suppose I could just stifle the feeling I get and stabilize the dream. or at least try xD
One thing I have learnt on this forum is that you can never fail while trying to LD. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Accept the result and learn from it.
Very true, Vaolinx. For example, I’ve been using MILD for a few weeks now and haven’t gotten super great results. Whenever I get discouraged I just remember that hey, I’ve just been practicing it this whole time and every night I get better. Eventually you’ll be rewarded with a stabilized, vivid, LD. You just have to experience the rush so many times before it becomes natural, becomes tolerable. You’ll get it eventually, just hang in there.
Thats a good theory Yves and it makes sense, be surprised by something enough and it will stop surprising you. I like the theory of that, hopefully it shall work xD Cheers everyone for your replies.
You’re getting there!
Don’t ponder about the results you get. Eventually you will get better results.
Put your mind into it and you will gradually start improving.
After all, we are still learning…
