Ok, I’m not sure if this is the right forum, but something bizarre happened last night. I went to bed, and had some sort of dream (which I don’t recall). so anyway, I wake up, lay in bed, and try to remember the dream so I can put whatever I could think of in my DJ. So I start having some form of internal dialogue (for some feeling, I got the impression I was talking to an old woman) and I was listing off any wierd details I could think of (verbally) and then I remember my girlfriend saying to me 'Don’t forget, you were a security guard", and when she said that, I KNEW that it was true (in my dream at least), like it was something that I totally remembered (although I still don’t remember), and then I wrote it down. Thing is, my girlfriend was never there, and as I was writing it down, I knew that kristen wasn’t there… I just thought “Strange… Why did I just imagine my girlfriend?” Now, I kinda figured (later on) that this was a FA or hypogrogic image/sound, but after my next dream, I grabbed my pad of paper/DJ and noticed that the ‘security guard’ note was there… So, any guesses as to what this was? or did I not explain it clearly? please lemme know your thoughts, I’m quite curious… thanks
The fact that the note wasn’t there when you woke up makes it all look like a FA, combined with hypnagogics. These hypnagogics probably occured because fragments of the previous dream were still lingering in your mind, and because your intention of remembering the dream was pretty strong.
Hypnagogics upon awakening in a FA are pretty rare I think.
is the note still there? I mean, if was a FA, then you may have had another FA after the next dream…
Unless it’s still there, in which case I’d say it was HS.
sorry, I don’t think I was clear… the note WAS there when I woke up, and I’m looking at it right now (and I’m currently doing more RC’s just to make sure )… although I hate to admit that I’m not special enough to have a hypnagogic FA… but whats an ‘HS’? Sorry for the confusion
Hm I’ve misread your initial post. My fault
If the note was there when you woke up, then it probably were vivid hypnagogics.
HS… does it stand for Hypnagogic Sounds?
yeah, it does. you hear sounds that aren’t really there. i’ve only had them twice.
first time it was un realistic voices.
second time it came without any warning, and was someone taking a deep breath right next to me. very realistic. scared me half to death…
