i read in a book of dream yoga that if you control yourself rom daydreaming while awake increases lucidity by increasing your awareness. give it a try and post your results here

That actually sounds like it could work.
To me it appears that the effects stem from being more grounded during waking life and not having fantastic daydreams without at least analyzing them. I’ll definitely have to try this also.
It’s easier said than done, but this would help, making you more lucid during the daytime, therefore more lucid at night.
