Feel like I've been lucid dreaming for years.

I started reading, only becuase lately I’ve been having some reoccuring themes in dreams, these 2 actually.

Now most of the time, I’m in these dreams, I know they are dreams, I was just more curious of why the themes keep reoccuring in my dreams. Alot of the times in dreams, epsically the teeth ones (as I’ve been dealing with these about once a month for a few years) I’ve done everything from make my self go to a dentist, “wake up”, accept that im in a dream and just let the pain subside. Sometimes in the dream the pain is so intense more then I ever have felt.

After reading alot, I’ve realized I’ve been Lucid dreaming for a long time, and about half my dreams a week are Lucid Dreams. Is this that common for having alot and not realizing what they are? My dreams are so intense sometimes, sounds colors smells.

I still havnt found out yet why though about the teeth & bathroom issues lol.

I think tonight when I dream I’m going to

Its honestly something I’ve never done in a dream before…and I’ve done lots of stuff in dreams hehe

Hi Rathina ! Welcome to the forum !

If you have so much LD’s, you can try and ask a dream character or even ask the question to the dream itself…

Tsk tsk Basilus, it’s ‘so many’, not ‘so much’.

Anyways, I think it’s quite likely that your teeth keep on falling out simply because that’s what you have come to expect.
You could try getting past this - after all, you are the one that’s in control of LD - by expecting your teeth to not fall out.

Or… try this:
As soon as you become lucid (that is, you realise that you’re dreaming) rub your index finger against your teeth, as though it were a toothbrush, for a little little bit.
That should do the trick.

Quite a lot of people have a handful of LD’s in their life without knowing what they are.
But it’s quite rare to naturally have the amount you do.

In all of them you actually realize your dreaming? FLDs happen a lot too, which might be happening. I’m not sure if you mean that you didn’t realize you were dreaming, or that they were in fact LDs.

If you knew you were dreaming, then you were lucid.

Oops! I’m so many bad in English. :crying:

lol

its all in ur head!!1

Well the teeth dreams, started about 2 years ago, and in the last 5 months or so I’ve really gotten a handle on controlling it in my dreams while I’m Lucid. A few of the things I’ve done in the dreams is try to figure out how to get to a dentist, which I might add can be quite hard sometimes in unfamiliar territory, nothing like chanting “Gotta find a dentist” over and over as you try to explore a dream land, I never did find the dentist that time, I ended up waking my self up becuase of the chanting, and sometimes you just like blink and realize your suddenly put your self in the dentist office.

I think one of the reasons it comes so natrually for me, is that since I work from home and have a pretty light schedule, I pretty much go to bed whenver I feel like, like when I am extreamly tired, not becuase I have to force my self to sleep to get up in 8 hours.

Alot of times I accidently wake up from them, if I think there is supposed to be something I’m supposed to remember or do Ill start repeating it over and over and over, so that I dont end up forgetting, and then boom, I’m wide awake and have to figure out if what I made my self remember from the dream, something I was supposed to accomplish in a dream, or in real life hahaha. The most hilarious one I’ve had was a dream where I was talking with lance armstrong, and I knew my friend wanted to talk to him, but he was to afraid, so I said I would try to remember everything Lance said, I didnt remember of corse, but for the first 5 minutes of being awake, I was quite confused, because I wanted to speed dial my friend (at 5 in the morning) to say I was talking to Lance and that they really shouldn’t have missed it hahaha. Thats how real these dreams feel sometimes! Glad I woak up more before attempting to make a phone call
