Feelings while Dreaming

Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my post  I am new to the site and this is my first post.

Although I have a clear understanding on lucid Dreams I only try to control my own dreams when they turn into nightmares or very complex situations where I feel threatened. I tought of the term Beyong Lucid Dreams and what it meant for me, so when I saw this subject posted I felt exited and enthusiastic.

More than trying to control dreams I let go, I use most of my skills not on controlling the dream, but instead in understanding everything I am going through, undestanding my decisions and feelings during the dream, and the most important thing, trying to remember every detail of every feeling.

After a while I learned how to understand them, now I look forward dreaming, because for example I like to dream that I am feeling a certain way, then in the dream I go back to a childhood time or youth time and feel the same feeling or emotion the exact same way I felt it during that moment. I even get to feel things that I use to feel when I was a kid. It makes me realize that sometimes when we turn into adults we forget many feelings and how to feel them, feeling inocence, a blast…

enjoy the journey…

That’s a very good thing Tessye, and welcome to LD4all
Certainly it is a good thing to try to understand yourself, and even more so in Lucid Dreams ^^ as they are a source of wisdom diretly from our SC.
And I smiled wildly at your remebrance of youth feelings :content: It’s so good to feel young once again, I bet.
I see you’re already an experienced dreamer, so I just have to wish you a pleasant stay here in the community  You’ll surely find many friendly people here to share experiences with.

Right on! I know exactly what you mean by old childhood emotions! I’ve noticed that the old mystical awe has eroded with time…but these days that feeling has been replaced by spiritual joy!

Yes, indeed dreams carry many of these sorts of in-between feelings.

Hello and thanks for the quick response, it is such of great feeling to know there’re more people that feel similar to what I feel in dreams, I have very understanding and supportive friends but to be honest 2 at most completely understand this matters.

I think we are just at the tip of the iceberg, I know there’s more to dreaming, I think all the investigation and understanding of dreams still at a begginers level, there’s so much to understand. I think it’s still unexplored and misunderstood. The way we wake up with a solution to a problem, dreaming about someone not seen in a long time, then a few days or hours after you get to see or hear about the person.

There’s so much more that the mind does and we give it credit for. And deams aren’t the exception to that. how is going to unlic that mistery, well I hope I am alive to see it, it the meantime I continue to make friends that enjoy dreaming as much as me and share the same thought of importance of dremas and what happens beyond simply categorizing what happens in one word…dream
