FINALLY! Progress!!

Well, its been about 2/3 months since I first started trying to have LD’s, and after school rolled around I stopped for a while, but now I’m trying again, and after just under a week at it, heres my result:
Havn’t been trying too many methods, just MILD.
Then suddenly lastnight, I had a dream where I was in the middle of my room, it was dark, but an even darker circle was around my feet. I suddenly said to myself “Hey… I’m dreaming!!” and started trying to fly by jumping.
Then i woke up in my bed, but the slip from dream to reality felt almost seamless, meaning I hardly even felt myself wake up, it was just a faint switch between conciousness!

This was all in a dream, at no point did it cross over to a lucid dream… probably one of those dreams inside a dream right?
But hey, atleast I’ve worked LD’ing into my SC right? should come anytime soon now… :woo:

When you said you were dreaming, did you know you were, or did you just say it in the dream without actually being aware of it?

Because from your description it sounded like you actually achieved lucidity right at the end before you woke up.

Hey, you realized you were dreaming while you were in a dream, that’s lucidity to me  So congratulations!
Be sure to remember what it feels like, the feeling of lucidity is a great thing to treasure and it can help you recognize more dreams

Unfortunately it wasn’t an LD,I didn’t have control, the actions described were not of my doing, but if I were in a lucid dream, i’d imagine those would be the 1st 2 things I say lol

Hopefully I’ll get one tonight trying the new DEILD method i found!

Lucid dreaming isn’t about control (not primarily anyway). It’s about being aware of the dream state. So from your post it’s still kind of vague what you meant exactly.

Basically,
I had a dream where my dream self realised he was dreaming. I did not feel a sense of awareness, and after I woke up, It just felt like a ND. I;ve researched LD’ing alot and I can say for sure what I experienced wasn’t really an LD.
Although it was extremely clear!
