Finally!

Successfully made it through a WILD. It took me like 3 hours, yes 3. But I told my body that I wasn’t going to sleep unless I had a successful WILD. Got really close 2-3 times but in the end I had more luck if I just ignored the vibrations and let myself slip into sleep. I “woke up” in a hospital hallway (still trying to figure that one out) and started walking down it. Well I got tired of walking so I decided to try flying and it worked. However I could only fly close to the ceiling and I would lose altitude every time I told myself it was impossible. So even though I kept going up and down like a carnival ride I still flew and even managed to fly down a stairwell(JUST CALL ME ICEMAN  lol). Unfortunately that is where I lost my imagination. I told myself before I went to sleep that I am going to have a LD and I will fly in it (didn’t think it would actually work). So it was a short LD (about 1 1/2 minutes is what it seemed like) but it was fun. I had a bloody and vivid normal dream after that. Maybe I’ll post it in the diary area later if I feel like it. Having a LD is a real confidence booster. Thanks for the help guys.

HOW COOL!

Congratulations, Rad! May you have loads of WILDs from now on!

Yeah, congratulations! It takes a lot of determination to do a WILD for 3 hours. I always just give up after an hour or so. It’ll just get easier for you from now on, so enjoy and keep at it!

 Wow. The longest i’ve tried WILD is 90 minutes. Maybe I should give 3 hours a try too!

HEy

Nice 1 Congratulations. LDs will be easier for you now

Alex

YAY FOR RAD… hi-5 … congratulations… 3 hours is a long long time…maybe ill give it ago lol longest for me is about 40 minutes hmm :shy:

haha thanks, 3 hours is definately not recommended. I was dead tired the day after but I tell myself it was worth it.

I never lasted longer then 1.5 hours =|

Will try 3 hours too ! ^^

rad when you were doing WILD were you moving at all…im always moving to scratch my arm or moving in a better position. At first i try to overcome the discomfort or overcome the itch but then i focus in the itch and it keeps coming back until i give in … i need a bit of help

Yeah man I know what you mean, sometimes those itches drive me nuts! I couldn’t stand it anymore so I just laid on top of my bed in only my boxers, that helped alot and I covered my eyes with my shirt to block out this annoying floodlight that my neighbors just installed(points right at my window, my curtains and blinds block out alot of the light but it’s just not that “outer space” darkness that I like anymore  ). I also found that what you’re wearing (or not wearing) is a factor, you need to be absolutely comfortable. If you do get one of those notorious itches just focus even harder on counting and it should subside. I hope this was helpful, if you are really having trouble you could check out the MILD, WBTB, or other methods.

BTW once you get into sleep paralysis you probably won’t feel your body at all so just hang in there and keep your thoughts centered in your brain. Good luck

thanks rad…im sure this will help…at least i hope. I hope i succeed in WILD soon. Practice makes perfect…and dont anyone forget it

Rad, maybe you should talk to your neighbour about that light.

As for successgfully completing WILD, congratulations!!

Yea I think I will talk to them tomorrow about that light, they’re a nice old couple so I think they’ll understand. Thanks for the concern.
