Finding Answers in Dreams

Your subconsious knows everything, right? You drive a few miles and just glance at a few liscence plates - you don’t know the plate by memory and will probebly forget any letters / digits that you did remember in a few minutes. But your subconsious knows it, right? It remembers it. Your subconsious can recognize patterns in people - which means what that person would say in a dream is likely what they’d say IRL.

Aren’t dreams just reflections (projections) of your subconsious? You enter an LD, conjour (for use of a better word) someone you know up, ask them a question (their opinion-type question, not like a trivia question), and they are likely to respond the same because of the way your subconsious recognized patterns in the persons IRL.

I mean our mind is more powerful and has a much greater capacity than any computer, and computers can narrow down responses pretty far in a given situation.

And if you lost something or misplaced it, you can just find it in your dream, right? Because your subconsious knows the object’s exact location where you lost it. And how accurate would a musical insturment be in a dream? I play piano, and I wonder if I found a piano with the sheet music for the song I was playing (my subconsious knows the exact notes perfectly, right?), I could practice and master it.

Am I making any sense at all? Please reply!

Thanks

Very interesting post (It makes perfect sense).
I’ve always thought/believed what you just posted, yet never posted it. That’s one reason why I love dreams so much… access to the superhuman part of you.

Well I agree with check; I think lucid dreams are much more than just ‘fun’, they can be amazingly useful. You’re in direct contact with your subconscious. I haven’t had a LD yet so it might be silly to affirm this, but I’m pretty sure, as all I’ve learnt from other people seems to show it could be true.

I’ve also thought about finding misplaced objects and stuff through my LD (SC).

That’s exactly what I believe. I hope to use LDs as ways of dealing with psychological and social problems. Try asking your subconscious to map out your find as a physical place, and then finbd where the problems are. If you can, try to fix them.

Its not only lucid dreams that are like this. If you pay close attention and remember your normal dreams then you can pick out the ones that are dreams of something you may be doing the next day, for example possibly asking some chick out. If you have a ND and you ask her out in the dream, do not forget what the answer is and why. It’s happened to me before where the answer in the dream was correct.

Indeed. It all makes sence. But you have to remember that your subconsious doensn’t always presents the truth. So I suggest to not rely too much on dreams.

Well I believe that your post is partly right, but I don’t think it is that easy.

Control in LD’s is very difficult. Furthermore, dreams are highly inslable, even LD’s. It’s not reliable.

I think memory is more based on memory Anchors. I mean that one memory can lead you to another memory. Like a big knot with a beginning and an end.

Your subconscious is amazing and retains pretty much everything. This doesn’t mean, however, that your dreams are always accurate. DCs are often not representative of their real-life counterpart, so tread with caution. While I think you can use your dreams to help you with many things, you can also use the power of your sub-c in the waking world as well. Finding misplaced objects (with the help of affirmations, self-hypnosis script, and a positive attitutde) is a good way to start.

I think that your subconscious knows everything you don’t really notice, but that doesn’t mean that it knows everything that you don’t really know, I mean, it can merge a lot of thoughts and imagine information out of data that is gathered by your brain thought your RL, but can’t really come up with something new that you don’t really know already.

In the case of music, how can you be sure that you’re hearing the real sound of the notes, if in RL you can’t tell if a note is a C or a B?, if you can, well then your subconscious will know for sure, but if not, then you’re just assuming you’re right without any solid knowledge.
