First LD in ages!

Hello there :smile: , just had my first randomly LD dream for the past year or so, through a extreme RC in a ND. I was on a cliff for whatever reason in my ND and thought “wow this seems a bit out of place, why am I on a cliff which is higher than the sky…” and the thought hit me, “maybe this isnt real” so I decided to jump down the cliff because I got the sensation that it would be water below, so I jumped n fell for ages and decided if I survived that I would most likely be dreaming.

So I fell down below, crashed into the water, felt no pain neither had the need to breath underwater, took me a while but finally I got up to the surface and was inside some palace. then I was LD! felt like someone turned on the light or somethinng, everything was crystal clear, I could see the details around the room so good, was visually stunning. I remained very calm though, like I kinda knew this was gonna happen.

Things i did in my LD:

  • Turned pepsi into “world’s best cola” the taste was heavenly
  • Got attacked by a CAT (LOL) so random, but i thought “Why is there a cat in my LD, be nice or vanish” and it turned nice.
  • A friend was in my LD getting attacked by the cat, and I sat down next to him and explained him that nothing can hurt him , we are in my mind and i wouldnt let the trashy cat attack him for whatever reason hah. It was really a strange sensation.

I think i was too calm about the whole thing, so it faded away… I woke up IRL, was really amazing! :happy: For some reason I didnt try to fly or whatever, because I’ve done it before and woke up pretty fast, so decided to stay calm and just study the sorround. Think I’m gonna make a list now for what I can do in my next!

For the past week I’ve been writing down my dreams just for improving my dream recall, had so many crazy ND’s lately. So my dream recall was pretty good, That night I’ve been working out at the gym, I was sooo tired so went to bed like 2 hours earlier than usual.
Maybe that had something to do with it, had like 2-3 crazy ND’s aswell! Cool!

Wow, that’s a heck of an RC. “If I don’t die then I’m dreaming.” Hopefully you’ll have a few more lucids tonight. :smile:

Congratulations on the LD! :good: Oh, and by the way, try not to do that particular RC in real life. It might hurt a little. :razz:

you jumped off a cliff because you thought “maybe” this is a LD and you felt the sensation. if you feel that urge at the wrong time it could cost you your life. this pretty much made me laugh for real. lol

Deep down he knew he was dreaming. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. :wink: When you’re dreaming you can be completely certain you are awake, but not backwards (unless you have some unfortunate mental ilness, perhaps.)

I think I’ve done some weird RC’s like that in the past, but nothing that extreme!

Wow, that was… adventorous, to say the least. This might be the most extreme RC done so far, and it will sure be hard to top that :rofl:

Good to see you back, and congratulations on the LD! :cool: Maybe talking about LDs on the other site helped…who knows!
