i finally had my first lucid dream last night (yay!). I didnt use a specific method but instead i just picked up on a dream sign. Anyway, i had a lot of trouble flying (I was able to but it was very difficult actually flying faster and better). When i was trying to convince a DC that i ws in fact dreaming, i tried to do the invisible staircase trick but that didnt work. I also tried to summon people by imagining them behind me and by typing "Summon XXX"on a pretend keyboard on the floor. THat didn’t work either. So can any experienced Lucid Dreamers give me some hints on how to have better control over my dreams?
You have to train yourself. You won’t have much control on your dreams at first, but you will learn after a while. (Also, was that “summon XXX” taken from Doom?)
I figured as much. And no, i read that typing things into an imaginary keyboard would work so i tried typing commands. didn’t work though =(
