I wish to state here that i found my R.E.M period. I get R.E.M period after 3 hrs from my sleep and after 1 hr 30 mins. I wish to do WILD before R.E.M period. My query is can i use Alarm induced waking up before R.E.M? If i use alarm i need to move physically to switch it off. WIll it not affect Sleep Paralysis and WILD? Is there a better way to wake up without disturbing others?
If you use WILD then you can use alarm because it’s good to wake yourself a little bit.
That sounds more like DEILD. Then yes, alarm is a bad idea. You can always use auto suggestions. They work for me perfectly. Although for very precise waking then that could be a problem. I use it for waking after 4 - 6 hours of sleep[not for like 4.45 hours…]
Ok, in this case i move physically a bit, again falling asleep is not a problem for me. So can i start Wding? Dream comes as soon as R.E.M period starts? I mean, my R.E.M starts at 3:00. So if i wake up at 3:00 and start WILD, can i expect dream images to appear soon?
Ok, WILD is that thing wherein you keep your body still and focus on the void between ur eyes, accompanied by hypnogogic images and some sounds and vibrations, soon on sleep paralysis u enter the dream directly. Is it correct?
The thing with WILD is that you have to be conscious through whole process. Yet that may be wrong. I’ll get to that a little later.
Yes, but some dreamers report having dreams in NREM sleep. But basically we dream in REM sleep.
Yes, you can, although it doesn’t mean that you will see images or hear sounds or have HH at all. It’s different from person to person. You have to adjust technique to yourself. This is the best guide that I found on youtube about WILD.
Basically yes, but like I said it doesn’t mean that you will experience the same thing as I do or some other dreamer. The biggest mistake that one can make is to try lucid dreaming by the book or guide and thinking that’s the only way.
The first line where I said:
By that I meant that we should be conscious until we feel the SP. Then you should wait and feel SP for some short time and then let yourself fall asleep.
Until I figured that part I couldn’t get the WILD right and that information I couldn’t find anywhere, not even in this video that I put in text!
That thing works for me and I’m not saying that it will work for you, but you can try and see…
But logically speaking in order to dream we need to enter REM sleep and to enter REM sleep we need to fall asleep?! Right? So while doing WILD we need to fall asleep at some point, in my experience when I decide to fall asleep I do that and I find myself in a dream, lucid. And that transition lasts only a second if not least!
Hope this helps, good luck!
