For people in school.

What is the best technique to use on school nights? Also, what are some additional things to do to help increase your chances of LDing on a shcool night? I find that I don’t have time on the weekends, and I often find myself more interested in LDing when I have school the next day.

I use WILD–but rely heavily on DILD…I suggest you try WILD or MILD, though–no WBTB on a school schedule >.<

Something old fashioned and good for being busy is just plain ol’ RCs. Those can really boost chances. But…if you are in for something new… You should check out a brand new technique written by me.

I’m not trying to advertise or anything, but I recommend you checking out the software that I just released (LucidWarp). It is in my sig, and is a 7 Day Training course that really only takes up a max of 30 minutes each day. I made it especially for people in this section of the forums, that is, people who are just starting out. It is a technique that completely changes your thought of Lucid Dreaming, and has an ultamite outcome of allowing you to Lucid Dream at will. It teaches you how to control your mind, and fulfill all of your goals. Kind of hard to explain all at once, you’ll have to check it out

Try dairy + WILD. Cheese and yogurt work well, along with sunflower seeds. (lots of B6 in those)

If you get to bed early enough, you should be able to pull off WBTB without much ill effect, you’d think. For some people, a mere 15 minutes of being awake in the early, early morning will work. Worked for me last night. If WBTB begins to negatively affect your waking hours, take a break for a week or so, or only do it every other night.

Relaxation before sleep + autosuggestion.

WBTB + WILD if you have no problems waking up and staying up a while in the middle of the night (I can’t actually do this one, since on school period, I usually only sleep four to five hours a day, but it’s nice to point out nonetheless).

Always do RCs, especially in classes you can’t stand.

ye RCs, thats the thing i do at school, and i think its pretty good when u consider being dreaming right in the class and not only when you’Re bored as you might be busy then and suddenly realize it could be a dreams so that could happen in a dream 2

Guys, you can always do WBTB + a dream re-entry tech. instead of staying up for WILD. The point is to wake up in REM, and then either go back into a dream you were just having, or create a new dream without even moving your body.

Here’s what I’ve done for my school schedule that has produced the only LD I’ve had so far:

I set my alarm clock for 6, wake up and turn it off and go back to bed. I then have the clock on my computer set to go off at 6:35. As I’m falling back to sleep I just tell myself that I’m dreaming and I’m going to become lucid.

This works out good for me because I would normally just hit the snooze button 2-3 times anyways before actually getting up and with 35 minutes I can get one good dream in that time. This is all combined with a few other things, like RCs and a few aspects I’ve pulled from MILD and WILD and it it really easy to do on school nights without losing much sleep.

hmm…trying to lucid dream before school. I usally just try to WILD some nights, but i mostly wait till the weekends. Because then i get more time to sleep in so it would be easier for me to walk up and the fall back asleep.(WBTB)…but i’m not much of a morning person so i’ve only tried this a few time <<…i guess just go with what ever floats your boat
