Get the Word out about Dreaming!

I’m with you AK. But ‘smart people’… to me it’s ‘open-minded people’. People like in Wnvoss’ class who INSIST they don’t dream, even though Wnvoss’ friend explained. They are the people who don’t deserve to dream lucidly… but then again, most of the time people who are not the tiniest bit smart tend to have closed minds (most of the time).

oye!

So yesterday this kid at my school was talking about how he started hallucinating before he went to sleep

It sounded like HI to me

so i try explaining it to him, but he just says “I DON’T CARE, SHUT UP!”

ick… some people…

True idiots won’t even know you insulted them!

Some people in my school were that way, but most people are genuinely interested whenever I talk about lucid dreaming. My reputation was a bit ruined though, when a person said that he could bring objects back from his dream whenever he was lucid. I lost a lot of credibility there.

On the plus side, I’ve managed to get several people to start DJs, and even have a small dream discussion group during lunch.

sounds good, but I’d never be able to do that at my school due to the idiots that are there. Drop outs from other schools come to my school!! And, erm, stuff. They’d probably start interrupting about “WDing” or something stupid… knowing the state of immaturity of most people in my class. What does “W” stand for? Hmmm.

When I see an oppertunity, I try to get the word about LD across. I guess the trick is to know your crowd and know how to build up towards the topic of LD.

I don’t want to get all Jehova on people, but it really makes me happy when I tell some one about it and they seem interested. It still suprises me that there are many fellow Psychology-students who’ve NEVER heard about it.
Makes me wish they’d teach us something like that in college, they leave out a lof of the good stuff.

I doubt that many would started a dj if it was a subject in highschool.

The nerds would make up dreams, the non-interested would get even less interest hehe

I remember when I first learned of lucid dreaming, I was in a chatroom on Yahoo Messenger. I decided to bring up the subject of LDs. I said something like “Hey, did anyone know you can consciously control your dreams while sleeping?”

Obviously, the very first response was: “No you can’t.”

But yeah, I was actually thinking about doing a video blog on You Tube about lucid dreaming. If I do, I’ll post the link when I upload it for anyone who might want to watch it.

Since I had nothing better to do, here is something for y’all LD4all members to digg. digg.com/general_sciences/Dream_Awareness

Is it just me, or is this placebo part of lucid dreaming ruining some interest in it?
All this “do whatever works for you” doesnt sound very convincing to me.

I spread it a bit over [url=https://www.romhacking.net/forum/]there.[url/]
And I got my best friend half-into it; he’s just too lazy to actually put forth the effort of doing it.
