Going back IN the body.

I read about one of the highest gates of dreaming (though I think the stuff about inorganic beings is BS and a waste of time, fluffy fictional dissertation, we should focus upon what is wholesome, you know?) is to go back into physical body and then step outside of it.

Well, I tried this, and it was VERY interesting.

Has anyone deliberately tried to go back into their physical body while lucid dreaming?

Sorry, this might be a stupid question. I’m not sure I understand what you mean…

Wouldn’t “going back to your physical body” be waking up? Or do you mean something like waking up but maintaining the lucid consciousness?

actually that’s a great idea, to maintain the consciousness

what I mean is going back into it, since it will still be paralyzed.

like deliberately having SP, as soon as you are lucid

a few times I did that, to focus on the chakras, and try to stay in SP as long as I could instead of having LDs, i’d usually float out of body eventually then have an LD though

this is because the shaman believe that if you are lucid and come back into the body, then leave it, you can learn to use the dream body at all times of waking / sleeping consciousness, and marry it to the physical.

Interesting! However, I imagine if I made myself remember what bed I was in, that information would cause me to wake up. I would love to try it though, as I am planning on really getting back into this. I forgot how much fun lucid dreaming was.

sometimes i would wake up, and sometimes i wouldn’t, because I would be deep in REM

only do it if you’ll stay asleep lol!

hm, I see… going from a LD back to SP would be even harder than staying in the LD, for me at least…

In a strange way, what you’re describing sort of seems like the whole point of this dreaming thing… I don’t know why, it just struck me as right. uses intellect

From my understanding of what you’re saying: this state allows one to be completely, mentally aware while letting the body rest. Permanent, self-aware consciousness. The dream world is fun, and a great gateway to creativity, but unless you’re able to LD every night, it’s deceptive. (feel free to throw n00bs at me mercilessly)

(I’m going to think about this more before I start ranting again. )

I have done something similar…

a couple of times trying to AP I would use the technique where you intend to be back in the physical dimension back in your room from a LD. It worked both times except it wasn’t a full on AP it was more like half AP half LD - like I managed to get out of body and see myself on my bed but some characteristics of my room were different.

characteristics in your room are always different unless you literally go back into your physical body and step OUT of it while feeling it strongly

i couldn’t really “see” to check if my room was different, and i saw a lot of odd symbols I didn’t like seeing, so it wasn’t really a physical level obe, or etheric or anything.

yes it does seem to be the point of lucidity doesn’t it? dreams can be distracting tomofoolery but interesting too.

YES I AM LUCID, I CAN DO ANYTHING

lets go back in my paralyzed body and see what happens!

 to explore chakras.
