Got Dreams, No Lucidity

Hey, I’ve found an excellent technique for myself that will cause me to have dreams. The only problem is that I can’t get myself to realize I am dreaming. I always end up staying in the story of the dream and can’t do what I want. I’ve woken up in the night and told myself to get ready to go lucid but I’m too tired to focus. I’ve gone lucid several times before but just by luck. I can’t do a reality check because I can’t get my mind to realize that I need to do one. Need some help!

Well you did not give much info on what you are doing to be helpful but, I will do the best I can.

  1. do you keep a dream journal. It is very important to get to know your dreams.

  2. Do lots of reality testing ( RT ) during the day. When you do this, seriously consider the possibility that you are dreaming. It is important that you do this exercise seriously.

  3. Do you use any other induction techniques like MILD or WILD. Also using WBTB along with the induction method can be helpful.

  4. Practice makes perfect! If you can practice everyday and be confident that in time you will succeed because, you will.
