Hallucinated-Vocals self-awekening

Sounds grand, isn’t it?

Anyway, this used to happen to me almost regulary at past times: I would lay on my bed, getting intense HI or daydreaming, with some noise in the back - which I can only explain as a lot of people screaming. Anyway, the noise used to start somewhere in the middle of the daydream (I never actually remembered when it started: I was to concentrated on the day dream) and would get stronger and stronger, until eventually waking me up with a shock.

This used to happen, and I believe it was a method of my body to prevent me from falling asleep - it never happened when I wanted to fall asleep, but only at mornings whe I was needed to wake up, or at noons when I just didn’t feel like sleeping.

There is also the point that it stopped hapening to me, as I now have more control of my daydreams and HI, so I don’t generaly fall asleep at such states.

Any thoughts on that? Ever happened to you? Share with us, please.

Thats actually sounds really interesting. When im on the verge of falling asleep i always hear my name being called…sounds weird but its true. Its a really faint voice but its there.I sometimes try to communicate with the voice but then i stop because it makes me feel crazy…sounds like im talking to myself haha

Hmm… I certainly have heard sounds, anything from buzzing to distorted voices to people screaming etc. But I am confident I have never had a personal instance in which the voices/sounds became so powerful that I woke up. The possible exception to this is when I was first learning and was scared/nervous about the voices, however, that is fundamentally different than what we are discussing here.
