Help, and hello :)

Hello all of LD4all, i’ve been working to become lucid for about a week now, ive become really emerged in the topic.

I have a DJ, the first night i could only remeber a small detail of my dream, the next night i could remeber about a paragraphs worth of information, the 3rd night i remeber 2 pages of information on one dream, and the 4th night i could remeber about a page worth of details on 2 diffrent dreams.

However im finding it hard to realize i am dreaming while dreaming, one of the nights i did realize i was dreaming, but that was because i was overcome with fear from something inside my dream, and as soon as i realized i was dreaming i woke up. so i didnt really become lucid. I’m having trouble with Reality checks, every once in a while i remeber, but it hasnt been enough to carry over into a dream.

I still am motivated and this forum really helps me with my motivation, but i have tried MILD every night for about a week, and it hasnt showed any results. One time, when i was getting into astral projection, which i still havnt been able to do, i think i was close to a WILD, i layed down until my body fell asleep but my mind was awake, and i started to hear the vibration noises, and i seen a really bright white, but it tripped me out so i snapped back to reality.

I only remeber having a lucid dream once in my life, i was about 10 years old and i was being chased by zombies, but inside the dream i slapped myself in the face, and i didnt feel it so i realized i was dreaming, then i just stood there until they killed me and i woke up.

Anyways i just need some tips on being able to make reality checking a habit, or some tips on lucid dreaming in general, thank you.

Well, in order to do a proper reality check you need to analize your dreams and then find something they have in common and that can be translated to the real world. It can be a feeling, a sighting, someone you see only in your dreams, etc etc. I will give you an example of what i mean. I just realized that in my dreams i am often outdoors. I would say that for every 10 dreams 9 are outdoors. So i decided to RC everytime i find myself outside. I just started this one today, so i don’t have much to share about it.

Firstly you should give yourself a time which is crucial for success! Even though we are doing this over night there is no actual success over night! :tongue:

RC is something that takes time to get accustomed and even more to reintegrate into dreams. I’m not saying this to discourage you but only tell you what is real and what you need to expect from this trip…

Do RC whenever you remember, like I said with time you will do them more frequently and it’s always the quality over quantity! Do them with time in good time! Stop, look where you are, ask yourself why you are exactly here and how you got here, what you are doing…

Also have you heard for daily targets for MILD?! Here’s the link! Use them, they will most definitely help!
