Help needed

Im practicing WBTB combined with SSILD now and i have hit a bit of a hitch in the sense that i never really think to do anything just after i wake up. My initial thought is always “i am tired, i’ll just go back to sleep” and after i wake up fully i realise it was a chance missed.

Any answer on how to get around this will be appreciated :smile:

Well, there’s not really anything much you can do other than willpower. Maybe the alarm you’re using is too soft. Make yourself get out of bed and walk around for a bit. Get on LD4all, or read a book about lucid dreaming, and then go back and try SSILD. You’ll still be sleepy, but not as groggy, and so your results will be better. Good luck!

i do use a rather soft alarm but that is just because if i wake up properly i do struggle to fall back asleep so i suppose i just will y way through it, thanks for the response!
